Jake Hirsch launched his Entertainment Group in 2006 as one of the largest Mixed Martial Arts Management Agencies in North America representing talent in the UFC, Bellator, K-1, World Series of Fighting and The Maximum Fighting Championship.

After a chance interview with Yuk Yuk’s founder, Mark Breslin, Jake joined the Yuk Yuk’s family first as their host of the popular, “Yuk Yuk’s Comedy Podcast” and later on as their West Coast Talent Agent,  getting to work with amazing Comedians and putting on live shows throughout Western Canada.

In 2017, Jake left Yuk Yuk’s to focus on Talent Management and to help a small group of clients with their careers. Jake Hirsch Entertainment Group is committed to bringing the most creative and prosperous opportunities to our world-class clients.

Jeremy Podlog, Head of Video Production

Jeremy has honed his storytelling skills by directing, filming and editing over 70 sports-oriented TV docs for international distribution including a feature length doc on the first fighter of Indian decent competing for The UFC. He co-produced the documentary “Girls Don’t Fight” for CTV and a weekly real estate TV show for Corus. The award winning documentary filmmaker/video producer formerly featured in Avenue Magazine’s 2010 Top 40 under 40. The U of C /Vancouver Digital Film School grad’s first foray into film-making was a quirky doc, The Deeper You Go, about a charismatic hypnotist’s journey from bawdy stage performer to self-help guru. The film played at numerous film festivals, winning an award for “best direction”, and aired over 100 times on The Documentary Channel.

Jeremy is head of video production and is working on numerous comedy documentaries and specials.
